Role Description This is a full-time Social Media Handler role based in Kathmandu, offered in a hybrid arrangement that allows a mix of on-site work and work from home. The Social Media Handler will manage daily content posting, monitoring, and engagement across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling content calendars, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role involves coordinating with the creative and marketing teams to develop campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and preparing regular reports and insights for continuous improvement. The Social Media Handler will also stay updated on platform trends and best practices to recommend new ideas that enhance audience reach and brand visibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and using native or third-party scheduling tools.
• Strong skills in content writing, caption creation, and basic visual storytelling to align with brand guidelines.
• Ability to analyze social media metrics, interpret insights, and adjust content strategies based on performance data.
• Experience collaborating with creative, design, and marketing teams to execute integrated digital campaigns.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple pages, campaigns, and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; Nepali language skills are an advantage.
• Comfort with hybrid work, including autonomy, accountability, and responsiveness in remote settings.
• Prior experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles; a degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a similar field is beneficial.
• Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) and knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.
