Role Description The Social Media Manager at Carthal is a full-time, hybrid role based in Marikina, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media channels, ensuring alignment with each client’s brand voice and marketing objectives. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, coordinating visual assets with designers, writing post copy, monitoring platform performance, and optimizing campaigns to improve engagement and reach. The Social Media Manager will respond to audience interactions, manage community conversations, and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations. The role also involves collaborating with internal and client teams to refine strategies, stay current with platform trends, and propose new ideas for growth.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), including campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
• Strong Communication and Writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-consistent messages for diverse audiences.
• Experience in Content Strategy, including developing content calendars, aligning content with business goals, and tailoring messages to specific platforms.
• Proficiency with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter) and basic analytics tools.
• Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present concise performance reports to clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines in a hybrid work setup.
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working with designers, copywriters, and client stakeholders.
• Previous experience in an agency or managing social media for SMEs is an advantage; a degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial.
