Opportunity Overview

Our client runs a fast-growing sports content and social media division and needs a social media manager who already lives and breathes the sport. Their main sourcing gap to date has been finding specialists with genuine sport knowledge rather than talent that needs training from scratch. This is a full-time, remote role owning day-to-day social output.

Role Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will own day-to-day content and scheduling for our client's sports division, bringing real fluency in the sport to every content decision. You will work closely with video editors and motion designers on campaign content, shaping posts that resonate with dedicated sports audiences. The role suits someone who pairs hands-on social media management with a genuine passion for sport, football in particular. The exact platform mix and sports focus will be confirmed with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Management - Manage day-to-day social media content and scheduling for the sports division.
• Sport-Led Decisions - Apply genuine sport knowledge and fluency to shape content and editorial choices.
• Creative Collaboration - Work closely with video editors and motion designers on campaign content.
• Platform Execution - Produce and publish content across TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience - 3-5 years of professional social media management experience across major platforms.
• Sport Knowledge - Genuine knowledge of and strong interest in sport, football preferred.
• Platform Expertise - Hands-on experience managing TikTok, YouTube, and similar social media platforms.
• Content Production - Proven experience producing and scheduling engaging content for social media audiences.
• Team Collaboration - Comfortable collaborating with video editors and designers on campaign content.

Bonus Qualifications

• Niche Sports Content - Experience creating content for niche sports such as cricket.
• Agency Background - Previous agency-side social media experience within a creative environment.
