Taryn Newton Co.

About the Role

Location: Prosper, TX (hybrid: in-office and remote days)

Type: Full-time, exempt

Reports to: Taryn Newton

Taryn Newton Co. is hiring a Social Media Operations Strategist to run our daily Facebook strategy, keep our affiliate content (LTK and Amazon) posting consistently, and support the content and operations work behind the scenes. You will be the sole owner of Facebook strategy, and you will execute affiliate content against established goals, using performance data to decide what to post and when. This is a hands-on role that blends strategy, content, analytics, and day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities

Facebook Strategy and Execution (sole owner)

  • Own daily Facebook posting strategy, cadence, and execution
  • Create and post daily outfit collages
  • Source products daily from Facebook shopping pages and map out daily deals and shopping lists
  • Monitor post engagement, clicks, and sales; report on trends and insights
  • Use analytics to adjust posting strategy and content mix
  • Manage comments, engagement, and community interaction

Affiliate Posting and Optimization

  • Post daily to LTK and Amazon according to posting expectations
  • Work with the LTK Concierge to schedule and optimize content
  • Build content plans based on Amazon and LTK analytics
  • Support Saturday carousel posting and weekend affiliate pushes
  • Manage the Trello affiliate calendar and keep posting consistent
  • Execute against established affiliate goals (this role does not own revenue targets or monetization decisions)

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track LTK and Amazon performance and identify ebbs and flows
  • Deliver weekly summaries of the best-performing content
  • Identify the best days and times to post based on data
  • Track product performance and repeat winners; surface high-performing products, categories, and formats

Content and Community Support

  • Respond to DMs and manage comment engagement
  • Engage with followers and brand pages as directed
  • Track trends and suggest content ideas to test
  • Support giveaways, including posting, winner tracking, and fulfillment

Content Prep and Shoot Support

  • Lay out items for shoot lists and prepare outfits and products for filming and photography
  • Steam items and assist with content logistics
  • Put away items after shoots and keep the space organized
  • Track inventory that is in stock and not yet shot

Office Operations and Inventory

  • Open packages and manage incoming inventory
  • Keep the office, closet, and flex space organized and clean
  • Manage weekly returns
  • Oversee Poshmark operations: listing, posting, customer service, and shipping
  • Prepare and organize inventory for Poshmark sales

Graphic Coordination

  • Coordinate weekly with the graphic designer through Trello
  • Manage Canva assets and keep the company Canva organized

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content coordination, or e-commerce operations
  • Hands-on experience managing a business or brand Facebook page
  • Working knowledge of Canva and Trello (or similar design and project tools)
  • Comfort reading analytics and turning them into clear weekly summaries
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting packages, steaming, and organizing inventory
  • Availability for Saturday and occasional evening or weekend work

Preferred

  • Experience with LTK, Amazon Associates, or affiliate marketing
  • Experience with Poshmark or another resale platform
  • Background in fashion, lifestyle, or retail content
  • Experience running giveaways or tracking inventory

What Makes You Successful

  • Self-directed and dependable: you post consistently without needing reminders
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a system for calendars, inventory, and physical space
  • Curious and data-minded: you want to know why a post worked and what to test next
  • Trend-aware, with a good eye for style and shopping content
  • Adaptable: comfortable moving between desk work and hands-on tasks like steaming, unpacking, and returns
  • Collaborative: you take direction well and work smoothly with a designer and platform partners
  • Warm and professional with followers in our brand voice

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, exempt position based at 130 N Preston Rd, Prosper, TX 75078. The general schedule is Monday through Friday, with in-office days running 8:30am–5:30pm and remote days running 8:00am–5:00pm. Because the work is time-sensitive, occasional evening or weekend availability is needed, including Saturday carousel posting and weekend affiliate pushes.

The starting salary is $65,000 per year, plus a 15% performance-based discretionary bonus paid quarterly. Benefits include:

  • 10 days of paid time off each calendar year
  • Group medical, dental, and vision insurance, effective the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment
  • Eligibility for the company retirement plan
  • Weekly pay, every Friday
