Software Architect

Software Architect Are you an experienced developer or architect who enjoys working close to customers and wants to influence the future of a business-critical product? Help build the future of financial software! We are looking for a Software Architect to join our product organization and play a central role in shaping the technical future of our Bonds solution. This is not just an architecture position. You will work closely with customers, developers, product management, and product ownership to create solutions that deliver real business value. You'll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, technology choices, and architecture while remaining connected to practical implementation and customer needs. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is excited about learning a new domain, exploring a mature product, and helping to create its next generation together with an experienced team. Your responsibilities: Define and evolve the architecture of the Bonds product Participate in hands-on full-stack software development Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions Support customer projects and technical workshops Lead technical discussions with customers and solution architects Support presales and sales initiatives with technical expertise Guide development teams on architecture and design decisions Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and development platforms What you'll bring: Required experience Strong full-stack development background Backend: .NET / C# Database: SQL Server Frontend: React / TypeScript Programming: Python Containers: Docker Cloud: Azure DevOps & CI/CD: Azure DevOps, CI/CD Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, Terraform Fluent Finnish and strong English skills Experience working in customer environments Personal qualities Comfortable communicating with customers and stakeholders Curious and eager to learn new technologies and business domains Pragmatic problem solver Strong collaboration skills Ability to balance long-term architecture with practical delivery needs Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives forward Nice to have Experience with financial systems Presales or solution consulting experience Knowledge of complex financial calculations and modelling What we offer: A key role in shaping the future of an established financial software product Opportunity to work closely with product leadership and customers Modern Microsoft technology stack and cloud-native development Skilled, experienced, and supportive colleagues Excellent team spirit and a highly appreciated office culture in Tampere Freedom to influence technical decisions and product direction Ready to join Evitec and shape the future in financial services?
