Help build reliable, high-performing digital products used by customers across multiple markets. You’ll work with a development team to shape the technical direction, tackle complex challenges and make sure solutions support both customer needs and business goals.

What you’ll do

• Design architecture for web and mobile applications, with a focus on performance, quality and a smooth user experience.
• Guide developers on technical design, coding and testing.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and documentation through to deployment.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical problems.
• Review code and help teams follow agreed architecture and engineering standards.
• Build prototypes to test ideas and validate potential solutions.
• Help lead the design of practical, scalable technology solutions.

What you’ll bring

• Experience as a software engineer or architect, including designing enterprise-scale applications and web services.
• Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments and MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, REST, JSON, XML, Redis, SOA and ORM frameworks.
• A solid understanding of multithreaded, transactional and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with software configuration management and continuous integration, using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Vagrant or Ansible.
