Software Developer Role in Andover at Stannah – Join Our Team!
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join Stannah based at Andover.
The job will involve developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Magento, and Spring Boot technologies. Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions that meet business needs. Enhancing existing systems, implementing new functionality, resolving technical issues, and contributing to performance improvements and digital transformation initiatives.

As a Software Developer, you will work on a hybrid basis; Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:15, Friday 08:30 to 13:30 This job is a permanent contract.

Software Developer Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Magento technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned to business needs.
- Develop and support APIs, integrations, and enhancements for core business systems.
- Provide application support through incident resolution, troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance optimisation.
- Manage deployments, upgrades, and system changes across development, test, and production environments.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions.

Software Developer Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java development (Java 8+).
- Proficient with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
- Hands‑on experience developing, configuring, or extending Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce).
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) beneficial.
- Experience with version control tools (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) desirable.
