Software Developer

A large healthcare technology business is looking for a technical specialist to join the team. The role focuses on the maintenance and modernization of core software systems within a dynamic environment dedicated to improving health services. What you'll be doing

• Maintain and evolve existing Visual Basic 6 applications while ensuring high code quality.

• Optimize legacy systems and integrate them with modern cloud platforms and databases.

• Lead error analysis, debugging, and the migration of historical software to new platforms.

• Utilize version control tools and support DevOps teams with automation and CI/CD projects.

• Communicate complex technical requirements and solutions to internal stakeholders and colleagues.

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in software development with Visual Basic 6 and relational databases.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficiency with SQL Server, source control (Git or SVN), and modern automation or cloud technologies.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to new technical challenges.
