My client is a well-established Austrian software company operating in the healthcare and digitalization sector, located south of Vienna. For many years, the company has been developing specialized software solutions for the processing, management, and provision of sensitive medical data. A small, highly qualified team works on technologically sophisticated products that are used by healthcare institutions.
To support the development team, I am looking for a Software Developer (m/f/x) Healthcare IT who enjoys taking ownership and is eager to grow into a specialized technical environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Further development and optimization of existing software solutions in the healthcare sector
• Primarily backend development using Java and Spring Boot
• Development, deployment, and operation of software solutions in Linux, Docker, and virtualized environments
• Contributing to modern web applications using technologies such as Angular
• Testing, documenting, and optimizing existing applications
• Collaborating with technical leads and architects to further develop the system landscape
• Working with databases such as PostgreSQL as well as interfaces to Oracle and MS SQL systems

Your Profile

• 4-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or similar is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of Linux, Docker, and virtualization
• Independent and structured way of working
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Interest in gaining expertise within a specialized product environment
