Role Description

You own the verification and delivery of AI-assisted code within a defined feature scope on one client engagement. You work within the technical direction set by your lead, apply your own judgment to what gets submitted, and stand behind the output as if you wrote every line yourself, because professionally, you did.

AI writes the code. You are responsible for it. Every line that ships under your name has been read, understood, and verified by you. Not because the tool gets it wrong, but because your signature on it means you checked. The job is to build the judgment to do that reliably, at pace, on software that clinicians, patients, and administrators depend on.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and submit AI-generated code within scoped feature requirements, to the quality standard set by your lead
• Write and maintain unit tests for all code you ship, including AI-assisted output
• Participate in code review: receive feedback constructively and review peers' work with the same rigour applied to your own
• Use AI coding tools strictly within H3Tech's acceptable-use rules and any client-specific constraints; disclose AI assistance wherever the reviewer or client needs to know
• Verify all AI-assisted output against source requirements and design intent before submission; do not rely on output looking correct as a substitute for checking it
• Raise ambiguities, blockers, and edge cases early; do not sit on uncertainty
• Maintain clear documentation for the code and logic you deliver

Required

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated experience
• 1 to 3 years delivering working software in a professional or team environment
• Working proficiency in at least one backend or full-stack language (Node.js / TypeScript, Java, .NET, or Golang preferred)
• Follows H3Tech's and the client's acceptable-use rules for AI tools without exception; verifies all AI-assisted code against requirements before it leaves your hands
• English (speaking): equivalent to B2 or above.

Technical Skills

• Backend or full-stack development in one primary language; awareness of a second
• REST API design and consumption
• Unit testing and basic integration testing
• Git and pull request workflow
• Relational database basics (SQL, schema reading and writing)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment conventions

Domain

• Awareness of data handling obligations in regulated environments (healthcare or financial services); not required, but taken seriously here

Strong Advantage

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) at a working level
• Experience with containerisation (Docker basics)
• Prior work in a compliance-aware or regulated codebase
