We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test with an AI-first mindset to advance automated testing across our WhatsUp Gold and Flowmon products. You will combine strong technical testing expertise with hands-on use of AI-enabled tools to design, implement, maintain, and improve automated tests, test data, and quality processes. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other engineers to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and improve release confidence.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated tests for WhatsUp Gold and Flowmon across relevant application layers.
• Apply an AI-first approach to test creation, test maintenance, test-data generation, exploratory testing, and defect analysis, while validating the accuracy, security, and suitability of AI-generated outputs.
• Define and evolve scalable test automation strategies, frameworks, and quality gates that support reliable CI/CD delivery.
• Identify high-risk areas and coverage gaps, prioritizing automation that delivers the greatest product and customer impact.
• Partner with software engineers to improve testability, shift quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle, and investigate complex defects.
• Improve the efficiency and reliability of regression testing, reducing manual effort while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
• Establish meaningful quality metrics and use them to communicate risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
• Contribute to responsible and consistent adoption of AI-enabled testing tools and practices across the team.
• Mentor engineers and QA colleagues on test automation, quality engineering, and effective AI-assisted testing techniques.

Your background:

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or software development engineering in test.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing automated tests for complex software products.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, API testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming or scripting language used for test automation.
• Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to improve software testing, such as test-case generation, test-data generation, test maintenance, exploratory testing, or defect analysis.
• Sound understanding of the limitations and risks of AI-generated outputs, with the ability to apply appropriate validation and human judgment.
• Experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and communicate quality risks clearly.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and a passion for continuously improving software quality and delivery practices.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
