So what’s the challenge...

Join our in-house agile SW Development team as a Software Development Team Leader and contribute to the delivery of high-end software solutions across our entire product suite.

Your day to day will include:

• Leading a team of Java Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
• Giving precise input on project timelines, priorities, and resources to ensure on-time delivery of software solutions
• Allocating assignments to the team for the development, modification or upgrade of the SW applications
• Developing and mentoring people, nurturing and evolving the team to reach their potential
• Coordinating the collaboration between team members to promote creative thinking and effective brainstorming for further improving and enhancing software capabilities
• Developing and refactoring existing applications, according to the agreed coding guidelines, architectural evolution, the platform’s roadmap, and security standards
• Following best practices and patterns, delivering clean, testable code and practice Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Documenting all interventions / developments to systems and applications, to effectively manage the software development lifecycle
• Our tech stack includes (but is not limited to!) Java (8,11, 17), Gradle, Spring, Spring Boot, Azure, JaxRS, Docker, Kubernetes, Wildfly, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Oracle

What you need to succeed:

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant field. MSc degree is desirable
• 6+ years of experience in Java web application development within enterprise environments
• Previous experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of Java frameworks and tools (Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, JUnit, Java EE/Jakarta EE)
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, REST APIs, clean coding practices, and scalable applications
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; experience with Linux and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus
