Role Description

As a Software Engineer at The Agentic Loop, you will design, build, and maintain software systems that support AI-driven content, tools, and learning experiences. You will work on back-end services and APIs, integrate AI models into production workflows, and ensure systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, performing code reviews, collaborating with content and product team members, and contributing to technical architecture decisions. You will also help improve internal tooling, automate workflows, and monitor performance to enhance the overall platform experience. This is a full-time, remote role, offering flexibility to work from any location while collaborating closely with a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs, working with databases, and integrating services.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them to design modular, maintainable systems.
• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML, especially deploying or integrating AI models into production environments.
• Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment, with clear communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing practices, and CI/CD workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in startups, developer tools, or educational/learning platforms is a plus.
