Software Engineer

rx labs is a small team based in jakarta building software for clients. we've built apps ranging from as small as ecommerce stores, to clinical and health portals, and some internal tools & products. we lean on AI agents heavily for the build, so the job looks a bit different from the usual SWE role.

day to day:

•⁠ ⁠get requirements from your user, discuss the approach with the team, turn it into a spec and tickets for the agent.

•⁠ ⁠test.

•⁠ ⁠review code you didn't write.

•⁠ ⁠own what ships.

•⁠ ⁠improving our internal agentic workflows

what we're looking for:

•⁠ ⁠solid fundamentals. you know how software gets built and shipped.

•⁠ ⁠you've used claude code / cursor / codex / similar on real work and know where they fall over. knowing about 'loop engineering' is a plus.

•⁠ ⁠if you think AI writes perfect code, this isn't for you. if you refuse to use it, also not for you.

•⁠ ⁠written english you'd be comfortable sending to a client.

•⁠ ⁠honest about what you don't know.

not looking for:

•⁠ ⁠years in a specific stack

•⁠ ⁠leetcode

•⁠ ⁠certifications

•⁠ ⁠a degree
