Hiring: Application Support / Software Engineer

Role: Application Support / Software Engineer

Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term / B2B Contract

Location: Fully Remote, Germany/Europe

Travel: Occasional travel to Munich

Compensation: Around €55,000 per annum

German: C1 or Native – Mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 application and production support for DMS applications.
• Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve application incidents and service requests.
• Support dealership processes including Sales, Service, Parts, Warranty, Billing and Inventory.
• Manage incidents through ITIL-based processes and ticketing tools.
• Work with L3, Development and Infrastructure teams for complex issues.
• Communicate effectively with German-speaking users and stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge articles and support documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Automotive/Automobile domain or Dealer Management System (DMS) experience.
• Application/Production Support experience OR strong dealership IT/system experience.
• Good understanding of at least one dealership function such as Sales, Service, Parts, Warranty or Billing.
• Troubleshooting knowledge of .NET, Java, C++, or Mainframe/COBOL.
• Experience with ticketing tools and ITIL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• German language proficiency at C1 level or above is mandatory.
