*Must live within driving distance to Ohio to be considered* Description - Define and implement Ignition SCADA systems; create and maintain clear documentation describing solution design and implementation - Partner with customers and internal functional analysts to define functional requirements - Break down work into technical tasks consumable by internal developers and configurators and oversee task completion - Testing and on-site commissioning of control systems - Travel to customer sites to perform requirement gathering, deployment, and post-deployment support (up to 15% travel) - Work in team environment with engineers and designers, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing - Apply modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing) to manage deployments - Explore and apply emerging technologies, including frontier agentic AI and LLM-based automation, to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability Skills ignition, erp, Scada, plm, artificial intelligence, process control, network architecture, modbus, sql Top Skills Details ignition,erp Additional Skills & Qualifications REQUIRED: - 2+ years of configuration experience within Ignition - Thorough understanding of control systems - Integration with enterprise systems such as ERP and PLM - T-SQL query and stored procedure development - Client display and web report configuration - Modern web-based UI configuration and deployment - Ability to integrate new software modules with existing systems - Demonstrated adaptability and curiosity to explore emerging approaches such as AI, low-code/no-code integration, and iterative requirement definition DESIRED: - B.S. in Engineering - SCADA - Understanding of batch or continuous process control - Network design/administration - MQTT/OPC UA - Ignition Edge Panel - Serial RS-232 - Modbus - SQL Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $130000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
