Software Engineer

An established engineering and technical services organisation is looking for a technical specialist to join the team. The role focuses on the development and maintenance of backend solutions to support core business processes. You will work closely with functional departments to design, implement, and optimise system functionalities within a collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining backend solutions to support business processes

• Analysing, designing, and implementing technical specifications and new functionalities

• Supporting and evolving existing systems in collaboration with specialist departments

• Performing error analysis, troubleshooting, and application optimisation

• Ensuring high software quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation

What we're looking for

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification

• Professional experience in backend development, specifically within a CRM environment

• Solid knowledge of ABAP, ABAP OO, and middleware technologies

• Experience with BAdIs, BAPIs, enhancement frameworks, and WebServices

• Proficiency in German and English with an analytical and structured way of working
