Role: Software Engineer- ACCELQ Automation and Application Development
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 months+
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Work Hours: EST
Location: 100% Remote
We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to support and enhance automated testing capabilities using ACCELQ while contributing to application development as needed. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, experience with system integrations, and a passion for troubleshooting and improving automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automated testing workflows and reusable automation components.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, investigate root causes, and improve test execution efficiency.
- Build solutions for test data extraction, manipulation, integrations, and end-to-end workflow validation.
- Support web application, API, database, regression, and integration testing.
- Contribute to full-stack application development, code reviews, and CI/CD activities as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering, validation, quality, and product teams.
- Maintain documentation and traceability in a regulated software development environment.
Requirements
- Approximately 3–5 years of software engineering or full-stack development experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals and experience with Java or JavaScript, SQL, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, and technical problem-solving.
- Familiarity with tools such as Angular, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or Kafka.
- Ability to learn new automation platforms and work independently.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred: ACCELQ, Parasoft, Keysight, or similar automation platform experience; SaaS product development; and FDA-regulated software or medical device experience.
Important: ACCELQ experience is not mandatory. Candidates with strong engineering fundamentals and an interest in test automation are encouraged to apply.
