Key Skills Include Proficiency in JavaScript and React or similar frameworks. Experience with Drupal or other CMS, including headless CMS architectures. Strong understanding of API integration (REST, GraphQL). Knowledge of composable commerce platforms and strategies. Familiarity with Next.js and modern front-end development practices. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Responsibilities Front-end Development and CMS Transition: Lead the development and maintenance of front-end storefronts using Drupal, and manage the transition to a headless CMS using Next.js. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and SEO. API Integration and User Experience: Implement and maintain API integrations to enhance dynamic content delivery. Collaborate closely with design and back-end teams to ensure a seamless user experience. Innovation and Skill Development: Stay updated with emerging trends in front-end technologies and CMS. Continuously develop skills and knowledge in relevant technologies. Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborate efficiently with marketing, content teams, and technical teams to align development with learner acquisition strategies and content requirements. Contribute to project planning, including task assignments and progress updates. Technical Design and Quality Assurance: Design and develop key components of software applications. Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards in code quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. 5+ years of experience in front-end development with JavaScript and React. Demonstrated experience with Drupal or similar CMS platforms. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
