The Impact You’ll Make in This Role

As a Software Engineer – 3D Treatment Planning (Production Support), you will help ensure the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our internal 3D treatment planning platform. You will troubleshoot production issues, develop enhancements and automation solutions in C#/.NET, and partner closely with treatment planning specialists to optimize workflows and support exceptional patient care.

What you'll do

• Investigate, troubleshoot and fix production issues. Find the root cause and prevent it from happening again.

• Develop improvements and workflow automation in C#/.NET.

• Work with 3D data (meshes, coordinate systems, transformations) to improve treatment planning features.

• Work with end users, product, quality and DevOps teams to prioritize fixes and improvements.

• Help improve monitoring, logging and documentation.

Your Skills and Expertise

Must have

• High School Diplo,a
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of software development experience with advanced C#/.NET skills.

• Hands-on work with 3D fundamentals: vectors, matrices, transformations, coordinate systems, 3D meshes. Or experience building or supporting software in the dental/CAD/medical imaging space.

• Experience troubleshooting production systems.

• SQL / relational databases.

• Conversational English B2 Plus

Nice to have

• WPF, Azure, Web APIs

• Mesh processing libraries or geometry algorithms

• DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring tools

• Regulated environments (medical devices, ISO 13485, FDA)

• Using AI tools in development

• Knowledge of dental workflows (aligners, CAD/CAM, treatment design)

• Troubleshooting/monitoring applications and databases deployed in a cloud environment (Azure/Kubernetes)

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible - Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to the Solventum site at least 3 days per week

Travel: May include up to 25% international
