Software Engineer - AI/ML

Who we are Violet Labs is building the home base for engineering teams and the connective tissue for their data. Now, we are developing the software platform that will revolutionize how these products are engineered. This role is ideal for ambitious engineers with entrepreneurial goals. What you’ll do Design, implement, test and optimize end-to-end RAG pipelines Develop high-quality datasets for training and evaluation Assist in the deployment of LLM-based applications, collect and analyze user feedback, and drive iterative improvements Evaluate LLM applications on metrics like correctness, latency, and hallucination Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, infrastructure, and security leads Help define and grow our engineering culture, processes and tools You should have 2+ years of professional software engineering development Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring an AI product or feature; experience designing, implementing and monitoring RAG pipelines Great communication skills and a strong work ethic Bonus points Proficiency with modern technologies like React, Next.js, TypeScript/Node.js, NestJS, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, GraphQL/REST APIs Experience in hardware programs such as spacecraft, launch vehicles, aircraft, robotics, consumer or medical devices Experience in fast-growing tech startups Experience building products or implementing systems that comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and The Export Administration Regulations (EAR) What we offer 100% coverage of medical, dental and vision insurance Remote work with semi-annual company retreats Unlimited PTO and sick leave Professional development stipend 401k retirement plan The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors.
