You will join an international and dynamic team responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of Avaloq’s Web & Mobile Banking platform. In this role, you will act as a Software Engineer , working at the intersection of development and operations. You will drive automation, enhance system resilience, and support mission-critical production environments. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain mobile banking applications (iOS and/or Android) Deliver high-quality, scalable, and reusable code Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities Ensure stable and efficient operation of the Mobile Banking platform Manage tickets end-to-end, including triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve services Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Maintain clear technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android) Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, or Objective-C Experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Application Support roles Solid understanding of production environments, monitoring, and incident management Good knowledge of the mobile development lifecycle Experience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practices Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory, Python, Groovy, Linux, and Bash Proficiency with modern platforms and frameworks such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, ElasticSearch iOS/Android Store Lifecycle management Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Full professional proficiency in English It would be a real bonus if you have Knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of Oracle databases Familiarity with the Ergon Product Suite Experience in banking or financial services We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
