Software Engineer (Bazel) at BairesDev


As a Software Engineer specializing in Bazel, you will manage large-scale, reproducible builds within monorepo environments. You will play a critical role in enhancing developer productivity by optimizing build graphs and ensuring fast, reliable software delivery across the organization.


What You'll Do:


- Design and implement efficient build systems using Bazel to support large-scale monorepo architectures.

- Develop and maintain custom Starlark rules to extend build capabilities and automate complex workflows.

- Optimize build graphs and caching strategies to significantly minimize build times and resource consumption.

- Ensure build reproducibility and hermeticity across diverse development and CI/CD environments.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Bazel into their development lifecycles and troubleshoot complex build-related issues.


What we are looking for:


- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Build Engineering, or Developer Tooling.

- Proven expertise in managing and optimizing Bazel build systems for large-scale projects.

- Proficiency in writing and maintaining custom Starlark rules.

- Strong understanding of monorepo environments and build graph optimization.

- Hands-on experience ensuring reproducible builds and improving developer productivity.

- Advanced proficiency in English.
