Software Engineer (Cloud)

Infor is hiring a Software Engineer (Cloud) with an Automation & Infrastructure focus to help build, automate, and operate the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power an enterprise-grade Security Token Service platform within Infor OS. This platform provides Single Sign-On and token-based authentication and authorization across a large ecosystem of cloud applications. The role focuses on reliable, secure, and repeatable delivery across the platform's environments and contributes to overall platform stability, operational health, and ongoing modernization efforts. A Typical Day in the Life Includes: Automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources to support scalability, performance, and maintainability. Support deployments and builds across the platform's environments, keeping delivery predictable and low-risk. Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code. Contribute to production monitoring and operational health, helping surface and resolve issues as they arise. Partner with developers, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver on shared goals. Look for opportunities to improve tooling, automation, and engineering practices over time. Basic Qualifications: Experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, IAM, KMS, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployment models. Experience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation/Terraform). Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps best practices. Experience collaborating with a global team. Preferred Qualifications: Scripting and automation experience; working knowledge of Java / Spring Boot backend services is a plus for supporting builds and troubleshooting. Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and multi-tenant architectures. Familiarity with observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) and SRE/operational discipline. Experience with security and compliance requirements in cloud environments (encryption, secrets management, etc.).
