  • High Quality: Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions, all while maintaining a fast delivery pace.
  • Community Mindset: Engage with the engineering community within Moonpig, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of our practices.
  • Open-Mindedness: Strive for improvement by being open to feedback, giving constructive feedback to others, and being willing to try new ideas. This openness is key to our ongoing success.
  • Growth: Be actively engaged in your own growth, embracing challenges while feeling supported in your role.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Build, test and maintain reliable, scalable and easy-to-support software for order fulfilment, production and dispatch.
  • Work with engineers, product colleagues, business stakeholders and factory teams to understand challenges and deliver improvements that make a difference.
  • Collaborate with your team to understand user and operational needs, shape solutions and deliver value in small, useful steps.
  • Use agile ways of working to plan, track and deliver work.
  • Contribute to technical design and make thoughtful decisions that balance quality, resilience, maintainability and delivery.
  • Write clear, well-tested code and help improve the quality and reliability of our services and applications.
  • Look for ways to improve engineering practices, team delivery and the systems and processes you work with.
  • Learn from colleagues across Fulfilment and the wider engineering team, sharing knowledge, asking questions and putting new ideas into practice.
  • About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new things and working with others to make a difference.

  • Experience building and supporting software in a professional engineering environment.
  • Good coding practices, with a focus on testing, reliability and maintainability.
  • Ability to break down complex problems and work with others to deliver practical solutions.
  • Understanding of how software delivery, team collaboration and business outcomes connect.
  • A thoughtful, pragmatic approach to making decisions and balancing priorities.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a willingness to develop new technical skills and ways of working.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, with confidence to share ideas, ask questions and welcome feedback.
  • Experience with cloud services, event-driven systems or software supporting operational and production environments would be helpful.
  • An understanding of AI engineering tools and practices, and how they can support productivity and software delivery.
  • You don't need to tick every box. If you bring relevant experience, curiosity and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you. We value different perspectives and offer mentorship and learning opportunities to help you grow.
