The opportunity ahead
You’ll play a key role in shaping Spotnana’s frontend experience by designing and developing features that delight our users. This role offers opportunities to grow your technical skills, expand your problem-solving abilities, and contribute directly to impactful products, with guidance from senior engineers on increasingly complex projects. Take ownership of projects, execute on fresh ideas, and help us continuously improve what we deliver to our customers.
How you'll help us build
- Build and maintain frontend features that power web and mobile experiences.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring ideas to life.
- Write clean, testable, and performant code to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
- Debug issues, review code, and contribute to improving product quality and team workflows.
- Take ownership of small projects, with support and mentorship from senior engineers.
Experience you bring
- 2+ years of software development experience with Javascript frameworks (such as Typescript, ES6, React, React Native, Apollo, or VueJS or AngularJS, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures).
- Proficient HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, responsiveness and accessibility.
- Experience with browser APIs and optimizing frontend performance.
- Experience with constant refactoring for re-usability and testability, for building scalable, optimized and performant web applications.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- Growth mindset with openness to mentorship, feedback, and continuous learning (degree or equivalent experience).
- New York City: Ability to work in a hybrid setting alongside teammates at our office at 115 Broadway, including working comfortably in an open office environment.

Spotnana strives to offer fair, industry-competitive, and equitable compensation. Our total compensation package includes base salary, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and comprehensive benefits. We use trusted third-party market data to establish compensation ranges that are competitive for the role, industry, company size, and geographic market, while maintaining internal equity across our team.
Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.
The anticipated annual base salary hiring ranges for this role is $125,000 - $170,000. Actual compensation will vary based on individual qualifications and the applicable geographic market.
