Software Engineer III

This position requires close teamwork within the application development team and with business users to meet the needs of the company and users. This role is expected to not only own complex systems but also guide others and influence engineering direction. Who You Are Bachelor’s Degree 5-8 years of experience in full-stack software development and demonstrable project ownership. Deep expertise in multiple areas; consulted on critical technical decisions. Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and frameworks like React,\ Node.js, or Django/Flask. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless cloud technologies especially Google Cloud. Exposure to and curiosity with AI/ML concepts and tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code). Experience in modern CI/CD Proficient in system design, debugging, and writing scalable, maintainable code. The Reality of the Role Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (front-end and back-end). Build clean, efficient, and scalable code using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, etc.). Develop APIs and services to support AI features such as automation. Optimize performance and scalability of both front-end and back-end services. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and software engineering. Build GenAI first apps to reduce payer and provider friction Work in bleeding edge cloud native technology Leads development of complex systems; designs architecture or major subsystems Drives design decisions; authors technical proposals and reviews others Owns end-to-end systems, often with high reliability/performance demands. Coordinates across teams; influences product and engineering roadmaps. Regularly mentors SE I/II; helps with career development and performance growth. Sets code quality standards; influences testing practices and code structure at team level. Other tasks as assigned
