Job Title: .NET/React Developer (Software Engineer III, IC20) – Hellaby
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain .NET backend services and React UIs for assessment platforms.
- Integrate cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, Terraform, and Docker.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Optimise application performance and resolve incidents rapidly.
- Mentor peers, review code, and drive best practices in software development.
- Support production deployments and provide technical input during key project phases.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- .NET (C#), React, API Management, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure), DevOps, Data Security, Software Design (Intermediate)
- Collaboration, Problem Solving, Technical Acumen, Adaptability, Innovation (Intermediate)
- Ethical Responsibility (Effective proficiency)
- Learning to Learn, Artificial Intelligence (Intermediate)
Qualifications (Education & Experience):
- Proven experience delivering .NET and React solutions in production.
- Hands-on with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and secure coding.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- No direct reports.
Hellaby Context:
- Hybrid working: 3 days/week onsite at Hellaby, with flexibility for key project periods.
- Occasional travel to other Pearson sites.
- Focus on high-stakes, regulated assessment systems.
