The Opportunity:
This position is for individuals interested in a broad area of Software Engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working in a teamwork environment and have not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience. Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be appropriate for your academic level.
The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks, this position will be hybrid with the expectation you will be in-person at least 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Coding and Development: Build small features, fix bugs, and update internal tools or applications under mentor guidance.
- Testing and Debugging: Run tests, review logs, and find root causes of software issues to ensure reliability.
- Code Maintenance: Document features, write clean code, and participate in peer code reviews.
- Team Collaboration: Attend Agile ceremonies (like stand-ups or sprint planning) and work with product managers or other engineers.
- Research and Learning: Explore new technologies, APIs, or cloud services required for team projects.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Signal Processing, Physics, Math, Computer Science, or a related degree
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be at a level appropriate for your academic level
- Experience with:
- Java programming of JEE or servlet-based applications
- JavaScript development
- C/C++ development
- Linux/Unix operating systems

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$43,900 - 87,900 USD
