Software Engineer – Java

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in Java and SQL to join our dynamic development team. You will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for the media industry while working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Work with senior engineers to understand requirements and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to improve code quality.

• Troubleshoot and fix software defects and performance issues.

• Learn and adopt new technologies to continuously improve development processes.

• Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–4 years of professional experience in software development with Java.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot and modern Java features (streams, optional, lambdas).

• Experience writing unit test cases.

• Basic understanding of frontend technologies like ReactJS (nice to have, not mandatory).

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git preferred).

• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Exposure to Redis or other caching solutions.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Proficiency with SQL.
