Software Engineer – React (Data-Rich Interfaces)

Description

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a Software Engineer – React (Data-Rich Interfaces) to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer. In this role, you will help design and develop intuitive, data-rich web applications that make complex information accessible, actionable, and easy to navigate.

You'll join a collaborative development team focused on building, modernizing, and sustaining applications that support essential government operations. This is an opportunity to apply your React and TypeScript expertise while contributing to a modern, consistent user experience across enterprise applications.

• Develop and enhance data-rich React interfaces, including task lists, item detail pages, historical activity views, notifications, and interactive dashboards.
• Build and maintain reusable user interface components using a shared component library to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Present complex data and system decisions in clear, understandable formats that help users interpret information and take appropriate action.
• Collaborate with development team members to integrate React applications with REST APIs and event-driven back-end services.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including two-week sprints and customer demonstrations.
• Support ongoing application modernization and sustainment efforts while maintaining a consistent, user-friendly experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional web application development experience using React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing front-end applications that integrate with REST APIs or event-driven back-end systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS).
• Experience developing audit trails, historical activity views, or similar data-driven interfaces.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Work Location and Schedule

• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Two-week sprints with customer demonstrations each sprint.
• Travel: 0–10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Security Requirement: U.S. citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance. An active Secret clearance or higher is strongly preferred and may allow an earlier start.
• Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 annually, depending on experience.
