Software Engineer with Java

Softeta is looking for a Java Devoloper to become a part of our vibrant team and will be work for our client from banking sector. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain back-end services in Java and Spring Boot to support complex banking and financial workflows. Design and implement RESTful APIs as well as event-driven integrations connecting core banking systems, data platforms, and third-party services. Leverage Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging, event processing, and reliable inter-service communication. Build resilient solutions covering account management, payment processing, transaction routing, validation, balance management, account statements, and other customer-facing banking capabilities. Work with AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure production-ready applications. Design and optimize relational database solutions with a strong focus on data integrity, consistency, auditability, and disaster recovery. Strong experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3+ for building scalable back-end applications. Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and Micro-frontend architecture. Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures. Experience working with AWS cloud services and containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Helm. Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD. Strong knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
