dynama is an AI-native broker for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. We prospect, qualify, and land brands' products on new retailers' shelves through a technology-driven approach so lean CPG teams grow faster and spend less.

The Role
You'll ship production code on day 1. We treat our interns the exact same as any of our engineers.
Members of our engineering team take full ownership of not just delivery, but carry true customer pain points and requests from conception to something lovable that works. We prototype, deliver, and iterate on feedback at speed while focusing on what drives the most value for our customers. We continue to cultivate a culture of collaboration, rigor, and curiosity. We want you to work on problems that motivate, inspire, and pique your own personal curiosity. We use cutting edge AI tooling in house to develop in the new age of product and software engineering.
What we're looking for
Number one qualification: love food.
At the heart of Dynama are our customers, real CPG brands creating products in food and beverage that people just genuinely love and come back to in their day-to-day. That is the basis of what drives the team at Dynama. We want engineers who can share the same passion - to take the burden of scale such that brands can focus on what truly matters. We are looking for exceptional engineers who have shipped scrappy projects that they felt passionate about.
The internship program is set up in a way that ultimately leads to the Founding Engineer position. We feel that it takes much longer than 2-3 rounds of interview to establish mutual fit. Thus, we look for the following.
- You build things no one assigned to you
- You stay curious enough to identify the problem, and then the possible solutions
- You say "I don't know", then go and find out
- You want to be a founding engineer.
The role is two things in one. It's your first-hand look into software development in the industry, at a company that is AI-forward in daily practice. And it's our extended, honest look at your work. If it is a mutual fit, we talk about what comes next. If not, you leave with the experience of shipping production code and a reference from people who watched your work up close.

20 hours per week, in person (downtown Austin, TX), flexible around your class schedule.
