Liverpool (Hybrid)
Up to 95K
We’re working with a Liverpool-based SaaS business that’s looking for an Engineering Manager to join its growing team. Over the past 10 years, the business has helped some of the world’s leading brands make better decisions through data-driven insights. With continued growth and further investment planned throughout 2026, they’re now looking for someone to help shape the future of their engineering function.
You’ll lead a team of 6+ engineers, supporting their development, driving technical delivery and working closely with Product and Tech Leads to build modern web applications and APIs.
What will you be getting involved in?
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of software engineers working with Azure/AWS serverless technologies.
- Taking ownership of delivery, planning and technical priorities.
- Working with Product and Tech Leads on architecture and technical roadmaps.
- Championing best practices across code quality, testing and observability.
- Supporting hiring, performance reviews and career development.
- Finding ways to improve engineering processes, tooling and automation.
- Exploring how AI can be used across development, testing and delivery, helping shape the approach from the ground up.
What's on offer?
- Salary up to £95,000 + annual bonus.
- Hybrid and flexible working, with 2 days onsite per week.
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Life assurance and workplace pension.
- Home office budget.
- Learning and development budget, including paid certifications.
This could be a great fit if you’re a Senior or Lead Engineer ready to step into management, or an existing Engineering Manager who enjoys staying close to the technology while supporting and developing a team.
There’s also a real opportunity to influence how AI is introduced across the engineering function, experiment with new tools and help shape how the team works going forward.
