- Lead and manage software engineering teams (15+ members) in a hands-on technical manager capacity.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to the team.
- Actively participate in coding, design, and code reviews as needed.
- Oversee and deliver large-scale SAP Commerce/Hybris implementations with microservices integrations.
- Architect, design, and deliver microservices leveraging Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Framework 6.x, REST/gRPC APIs, and SAP Commerce extension development.
- Ensure best practices in SAP Commerce architecture, integration, and cloud operations (SAP Commerce Cloud on Azure).
- Manage production microservices on Kubernetes, leveraging mature CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and observability tools.
- Foster Agile delivery and modern DevOps practices within the team.
- Guide the use of GraphQL, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), reactive/event-driven architectures, and service mesh concepts.
- Drive integration with relational databases, Solr, and NoSQL stores.
- Promote secure API design and zero-trust security principles.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of GenAI and AI coding assistants into commerce solutions, ensuring responsible AI use.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements and industry trends in e-commerce and digital commerce domains.
