The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. Whether it’s ETL, Java, Spring suite, AngularJS, Unix or Database skillset required for the project initiatives, we are there for each other collaborating and helping each other to achieve the common goal. We are embarking on an incredible multi-year transformation journey which may include research, new development, prototyping, modification building reusable components and maintenance.

In this role would be responsible to contribute towards new project implementations as well as enhancements to existing Financial Settlement applications. There is also significant opportunity for advancement and growth in this role based on your performance and contribution towards the organization goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

• Hands-on experience in application development.
• Hands-on experience in any ETL development and Data Integration (preferably Informatica)
• Strong SQL and database development skills (Oracle, Snowflake preferred).
• Hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevOps and container technologies such as Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Angular, Java, Spring, Microservices
• Experience in working with REST APIs using Spring Boot framework.
• Demonstrable experience in software development using CI/CD tools especially GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Jira
• Experience with containers platform like OpenShift. And AWS experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
• Experience with Micro Services & Layered (SOA/MVC) Architecture on Prem and On cloud (AWS)
• Experience in deploying scalable solutions in Kubernetes/docker containers that are highly resilient and perform well in an environment that talks to legacy systems and future centric micro architecture. UI/UX (Angular or equivalent)
• Strong passion for continuous improvement in its many forms Ability to be flexible and change direction as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
• Construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
• Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions
• Create and maintain system documentation
• Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
• Provide production support for applications as needed
• Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications
• Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
• Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• Supports team in leading client expectations and resolving issues on time.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and engage with the team.
