Software Engineer(Remote)

What You’ll Do We are looking for a experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will have a solid background in software development, and experience working in a collaborative environment. You will design, developing, testing, and maintaining our software applications, with a focus on scalability, and reliability. Additionally, you will create automated solutions that support our customers in filing large volumes of indirect tax returns. Your contributions will ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will report to Sr. Engineering Manager. Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design high-quality software applications and automation tools, ensuring best practices in coding and testing are applied. Conduct Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and provide constructive feedback to team members. Perform rigorous unit testing and debugging to resolve software defects, ensuring a reliable application. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Expert-level proficiency in .Net C#, Java and experience in React, NodeJs would be an added advantage Experience with server-side programming models and REST API standards. Proficient in working with relational databases, such as SQL. Working knowledge of cloud platforms AWS. Experience with continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Proficient in using Git for source control. Experience designing and building scalable microservice architectures. What You'll Need to be Successful Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, with 4+ years of relevant work experience in software development or automation roles. Experience in writing unit and integration test cases to ensure software quality and reliability. Prior experience working within an Agile team is important for this role. Proficient in object-oriented design, with a understanding of common design patterns.. Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues.
