We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy solving complex problems, writing clean and efficient code, and working collaboratively with technical and cross-functional teams in a fully remote work environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable software applications
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand technical and business requirements
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and technical problems
• Perform code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and development practices
• Develop and maintain APIs, backend services, or frontend applications depending on project requirements
• Write unit tests and support automated testing and quality assurance processes
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to system design and architecture decisions
• Monitor application performance and support continuous improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and development processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, programming languages, frameworks, and software development best practices

✅ Requirements

• Entry-Level / Junior candidates are welcome to apply
• 0–3+ years of experience in software development, software engineering, or a related field; internships and academic projects included
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, C++, or similar
• Basic understanding of software development principles and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and web services is a plus
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Knowledge of frontend or backend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, .NET, Spring Boot, Django, or similar is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
• Basic understanding of software testing and debugging practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Based in Malaysia with legal authorization to work full-time
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment
