Software Implementation Consultant – Financial Software

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Working arrangement: Hybrid, approximately three days per week in the office

Employment: Permanent, 80–100%

Languages: German and English, both C1 or above

Trust in SODA is partnering with a financial software provider to hire a Software Implementation Consultant for its growing Zurich team.

You’ll work directly with financial services clients to understand their requirements, configure software and support successful implementations. The role combines client interaction with practical technical work, including analysing data, testing configurations and resolving implementation challenges.

With structured training and increasing responsibility, this is an opportunity to develop across technology, finance and client consulting.

What you’ll do

• Understand client requirements and translate them into practical platform configurations.
• Deliver onboarding projects using established implementation methods and templates.
• Work alongside migration specialists to assess and validate data from different source systems.
• Support the setup and analysis of data interfaces and feeds from external providers.
• Investigate technical and business issues, identify their causes and implement solutions.
• Test configurations, data and functionality to ensure reliable operation.
• Support user training and explain technical solutions clearly.
• Help automate recurring tasks and improve implementation processes and tools.

What you’ll bring

• Ideally 2–5 years of experience in software implementation, application support, IT consulting, data management or a related area.
• Relevant IT training or a degree in computer science, business informatics, data science, business administration or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel skills and a structured, accurate approach to working with data.
• Confidence working directly with clients and explaining technical concepts.
• A hands-on approach to investigating problems and implementing solutions.
• The ability to learn new software and understand complex processes.
• German and English at C1 level or above.

Exposure to SQL, databases, Python or data interfaces would be advantageous. Knowledge of finance, accounting or investment management is also beneficial, alongside the motivation to develop this expertise.
