Seeking a Software & System Test Engineer responsible for delivering engineering assignments, expanding technical knowledge, and ensuring the integrity of electrical control systems in vehicles. The role involves designing electrical and electronics infrastructure, integrating software, and safeguarding against cyber threats.

Seeking a Software & System Test Engineer responsible for delivering engineering assignments, expanding technical knowledge, and ensuring the integrity of electrical control systems in vehicles. The role involves designing electrical and electronics infrastructure, integrating software, and safeguarding against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project and team activities by breaking down concepts, creating development plans, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Design engineering specifications for ECU applications, including hardware and software, using tools like MATLAB Simulink and MS Visio.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis on prototypes and mass-produced vehicles, resolving system issues.
- Test and verify ECU hardware/software performance, document results, and review with technical leadership.
- Identify improvements to processes and systems for increased efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manage documentation, and communicate potential impacts of changes proactively.
- Degree in BSEE, BSME, or similar; 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Effective communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with tools like PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, CANalyzer.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and pay close attention to detail.
- Hands-on vehicle work, including lifting, kneeling, and maneuvering inside vehicles.
- Work may involve overtime, early/late hours, and some travel (~5%).
- Split between on-site (80%) and remote (20%) work, with vehicle testing conducted in labs or offsite.
