Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting software defects, performing functional and regression testing, investigating issues, and collaborating with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions.

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and specifications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.

• Analyze reported issues and work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.

• Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.

• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test documentation.

• Participate in requirements and design reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the development process.

• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts as required.
• Have knowledge of automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, coverage, and overall software quality.
• Report testing progress, results, and identified risks to the relevant team members.
• Stay updated on testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Location: Maadi - Cairo

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Working Days: From Sun to Thu.
