Software Tester / Test Manager – Dynamics 365 & Power Platform

About the Role

Nexplore is seeking an experienced Software Testing professional at Professional to Senior level to support quality assurance within the Dynamics & Power Platform environment. You will combine hands-on testing in agile delivery teams with classic test management responsibilities, helping ensure reliable, end-user-ready software.

In this role, you will think beyond standard scenarios, identify risks and edge cases, and translate requirements into clear, testable cases. You will work closely with Requirements Engineering, UX, Development, Operations, and business teams in a self-organized, holacratic organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define test objectives, test types, acceptance criteria, and regression-ready test sets for Dynamics 365 workflows, forms, and integrations.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test concepts, and test plans from an end-to-end testing perspective through release testing.
• Perform manual testing during agile sprints and beyond, including standard, edge-case, and less obvious test paths.
• Document test results clearly and comprehensively.
• Manage test plans, test cases, and test runs using Azure DevOps, Jira Xray, or comparable tools.
• Coordinate and support business testing and release readiness activities.
• Establish quality standards within the team, including Definition of Done, test-case guidelines, and bug templates.
• Support customers in increasing their testing maturity.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to turn requirements into clear, verifiable test cases and deliver software suitable for end users.
• Take responsibility for the Tester role within the Dynamics & Power Platform area; additional roles may be available based on suitability, interest, and capacity.

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience in software testing, including manual testing, in agile environments.
• Confidence creating test cases and test strategies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/TFS, including Boards and Test Plans, or comparable tools.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
• Ability to quickly learn low-code and Power Platform topics.
• Structured and detail-oriented working style.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
• Residence in Switzerland.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with test automation.
• Experience with API testing.
• Experience with automated test-data generation.
• ISTQB CTFL certification or a higher ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of Power Platform and Azure.
