Solar Appointment Setter / Lead Reactivation Specialist

Salary: $1,500–$2,000/month
Schedule: 9 hours, from 6:00 PM–2:00 AM Lebanon time

Company Overview

The company is a growing solar business focused on helping homeowners transition to solar energy through a consultative sales process. The team is looking for a highly energetic, confident communicator who can engage both new and existing leads, qualify homeowners, and consistently create quality opportunities for the sales team.

This is a highly phone-based, client-facing role where communication, speed, consistency, and follow-through are critical.

Mission

The mission of this role is to turn both new and existing leads into qualified solar appointments and help maximize opportunities that would otherwise be lost.

You will manage two key lead streams: rapidly responding to new inbound leads and systematically reactivating thousands of older leads that previously did not convert. You will also follow up with prospects after unsuccessful appointments to understand what happened, gather feedback, and give the Sales Consultant another opportunity to close the deal.

Success in this role means maintaining a high level of activity, creating quality appointments, keeping accurate CRM records, and consistently bringing positive energy to every conversation.

Responsibilities

  • Make a minimum of 250 outbound calls per day to existing and aged leads.
  • Respond to new inbound leads within approximately one minute of receiving them.
  • Reactivate and re-engage aged leads that previously came through organic lead generation or sales representatives but did not close.
  • Speak with homeowners, identify their needs, and ask basic qualifying questions.
  • Confirm that prospects are homeowners and decision-makers and that the property is within the company's service area.
  • Assess genuine interest and determine whether the prospect is a good fit for a solar consultation.
  • Schedule and confirm qualified appointments with Sales Consultants.
  • Encourage all relevant decision-makers to participate in the appointment.
  • Confirm appointment details and ensure the prospect is prepared for the Sales Consultant.
  • Follow up with prospects after appointments that did not result in a sale.
  • Ask homeowners for feedback on why they did not move forward and determine whether there is still an opportunity to close.
  • Relay relevant feedback and follow-up opportunities to the Sales Consultant.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, call outcomes, qualification details, and handoff notes in GoHighLevel (GHL).
  • Track and report daily performance metrics, including:
    • Outbound calls
    • Inbound leads contacted
    • Total conversations
    • Qualified conversations
    • Appointments scheduled
    • Appointments confirmed
    • Appointments sat
    • Rescheduled appointments
    • Closed sales from appointments
    • Appointment-to-sit percentage
    • Sit-to-close percentage
  • Consistently meet activity and appointment-quality expectations.
  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and positive tone throughout a full day of phone-based work.

Requirements

  • Excellent spoken English and strong verbal communication skills.
  • Energetic, positive, and engaging phone presence. Voice and tone are critical to this role; candidates must be able to sound confident, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic throughout conversations.
  • Comfortable spending essentially the entire workday on the phone, 5 days per week.
  • Able to maintain consistent energy and performance during a high-volume calling environment.
  • Previous sales, appointment-setting, telemarketing, lead generation, or customer-facing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Previous solar industry experience or knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable handling both warm inbound leads and cold/aged lead reactivation.
  • Strong follow-up skills and the ability to confidently re-engage prospects who previously did not move forward.
  • Comfortable working toward clear daily and weekly KPIs.
  • Highly organized and able to maintain accurate CRM notes and lead information.
  • Able to quickly learn and work within GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM systems. Previous GHL experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to identify buying signals, objections, and follow-up opportunities.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and accountable for results.
  • Available to work 11:00 AM–7:00 PM Eastern Time on a full-time basis.

Technical Requirements

  • Own PC or laptop
  • Reliable internet connection (wired connection recommended)
  • Noise-cancelling headset and a quiet, professional workspace
