Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect with experience across a broad range of technologies, who can drive presales for new customers, develop solution architecture from scratch, and act as a technical advisor for existing projects. There are no strict technology limitations, though .NET and GenAI are preferred, and solid experience in software solution architecture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the solution, from design to implementation, deployment, and maintenance
• Lead pre-sales, PoC, and architecture road mapping activities, as well as conduct client tool and technology evaluations
• Translate business requirements into the best possible technical solutions
• Facilitate efficient communication between clients and technical teams, provide technical leadership, and ensure alignment with the high-level architectural vision
• Ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards, while tracking and enforcing compliance with architectural decisions
• Oversee the troubleshooting and swift resolution of technical issues as they arise
• Promote and encourage continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• More "applied" engineering duties include:
• Coding and refactoring
• Code reviews
• Unit and integration testing
• Bug fixing

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct experience in a solution architecture role
• Strong system and solution design skills
• Proven technical leadership skills
• Experience in developing for 3-tier architecture
• Extensive experience as a software engineer working with .NET
• Proven track record in building WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and providing estimates
• Experience and strong knowledge of the required technology stack: MS SQL Server (including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis); Cloud platforms: Azure and/or AWS; ASP.NET (including MVC); WCF; WPF / Prism; Middleware: RabbitMQ / Tibco / IBM MQ; RESTful services; JavaScript (including Angular/React)
• Experience in mobile solution architecture is a plus
• Strong TDD (Test-Driven Development) experience, understanding of best CI/CD practices, familiarity with code quality and code review tools, and a strong sense of ownership over code quality
• Strong UML modeling and design skills
• Experience in building and operating an AI SDLC framework: Agentic workflows, autonomous agents, AI Modernization, etc
• 1+ years in architecture roles involving cloud, data, or production Generative AI/LLM systems
• Ability to implement functionality without supervision and test own work thoroughly using test cases
• Banking domain knowledge is a big plus
