Solution Architect (Life Sciences) We're looking for a Salesforce Life Sciences Solution Architect to own the Life Sciences Cloud product line for a regulated life sciences client. This is a hybrid role: part strategic backlog owner, part hands-on administrator, part release manager. You'll sit close to executive stakeholders to shape the roadmap, while staying hands-on enough in the org to configure, troubleshoot, and ship. The right person must have prior Salesforce delivery experience; this is not an entry-level role, but one for someone who already knows how the platform behaves under real usage. Role Responsibilities: Roadmap & Backlog Strategy Own the Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud roadmap, including change management, training requirements, and communication plans Prioritize the product backlog, balancing tactical fixes against strategic, multi-vertical goals with executive stakeholders Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria; disambiguating requirements directly with business stakeholders Sign off on acceptance criteria and accept/reject delivered stories, with the authority to make requirement decisions without escalating every call Hands-On Salesforce Administration Object and field administration; custom field creation, page layouts, record types, and org configuration Build reports and dashboards for business and executive stakeholder consumption Resolve internal change requests and user incidents for employees across business units Maintain data integrity; recognize systems of record and coordinate with the relevant product management teams Release & Delivery Management Manage release management end-to-end, documenting and communicating releases across all verticals Run and contribute to core Agile ceremonies: daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives Partner with technical and functional delivery teams; on backlog grooming and release planning Surface and help remove delivery roadblocks; giving timely feedback on work-in-progress Stakeholder Enablement & Adoption Act as the primary bridge between the delivery team and business stakeholders; facilitating communication and mediating on requirements Run end-user training and new hire orientation sessions; to drive adoption across business units Maintain Salesforce documentation; in collaboration with technical and functional teams Identify opportunities for continuous team and process improvement Experience/Skills Required: 5-7 years of Salesforce delivery experience Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud certification and implementation experience Technical Background / Degree Program preferred Minimum of an active Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification required Able to discuss experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work independently Able to discuss the benefits of a Software as a Service (SaaS) model Basic Knowledge of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems such as CRM or ERP Ability to learn quickly and think creatively Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies Must have full-time permanent US work authorization Travels with client or project team as needed Additional Preferred Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Travels with client or project team as needed Why Coastal, and what we offer: Flexible working hours with an emphasis on a life-work balance (in that order!)
