What You’ll Do Assess current source systems, data flows, integrations, reporting flows, and architectural constraints Identify data fragmentation, architecture gaps, platform risks, and key dependencies Define the target-state / North Star data platform architecture Evaluate platform options such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, or comparable technologies Recommend platform and toolchain direction based on business value, technical fit, cost, scalability, EU data residency, and operational feasibility Define integration patterns, data movement principles, and data platform building blocks Support AI readiness assessment from an architecture and data foundation perspective Provide input into data governance, access, security, and compliance principles Assess technical feasibility of prioritized use cases Support Phase 2 roadmap, implementation sequencing, and high-level sizing What You Bring Strong background in enterprise data architecture and cloud data platforms Experience with Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, or similar ecosystems Experience designing data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, integration layers, and analytics platforms Strong understanding of data governance, security, access management, and compliance considerations Ability to assess fragmented enterprise landscapes quickly Strong client-facing communication skills Nice to Have Manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, finance, or multi-site enterprise experience ERP, CRM, MES, reporting, or operational systems integration experience Experience with AI readiness, ML/AI platforms, GenAI enablement, or data products English level Upper-Intermediate Legal & Hiring Information Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
