Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to design scalable, secure enterprise solutions on the Azure/Microsoft stack. This role will define cloud, integration, and data architecture for complex technology programs, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for security, governance, and scalability.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Toronto, with 2-3 days a week in the office.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design enterprise solution and data architecture on the Azure/Microsoft stack to support complex technology programs
• Architect scalable cloud, integration, and data solutions using APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, and modern data pipelines
• Design and oversee data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
• Define integration patterns and API strategies across enterprise applications and services
• Design SQL/NoSQL data models and storage solutions to support application and analytics needs
• Ensure architecture decisions align with enterprise security, governance, and architecture standards
• Partner with delivery leads, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical designs
• Review and guide technical implementation to ensure solutions are built according to architectural design
• Identify architectural risks and trade-offs, and provide recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
• Stay current on Azure platform capabilities and recommend improvements to architecture and tooling
  
  

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution/data architecture on Azure/Microsoft stack
• Strong experience designing scalable cloud, integration, and data solutions using APIs, Kafka/event-driven architecture, SQL/NoSQL, and data pipelines/ETL
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
• Working knowledge of security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards
• Strong understanding of modern data platform and integration patterns
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical designs to both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
