About the role
We are looking for a Google Cloud Solutions Architect with strong technical pre-sales experience and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role combines solution architecture, customer engagement, technical sales, and end-to-end project delivery, with a focus on Generative AI, data platforms, and cloud modernization.

Requirements

• Experience working at Google Cloud, a major GCP partner or Systems Integrator, or comparable experience
• Proven experience architecting and launching at least one GCP customer project into production at scale, with $100K+ monthly GCP spending as a reference point
• Demonstrated end-to-end technical sales experience, covering lead engagement, discovery, proposal development, prototyping, and full-scale delivery
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud architecture and enterprise solutions
• Practical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  • Generative AI: Gemini, Vertex AI, AI agents, RAG, and production LLM applications
  • Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Lakehouse/Iceberg architectures, and data migrations
  • Infrastructure & Application Modernization: GKE, Cloud Run, and migrations from AWS or Azure to GCP
• Experience with technical pre-sales, including customer discovery, solution proposals, and presentations
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to provide concrete examples of successful enterprise GCP engagements

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud co-sell activities and funding programs
• Broad technical expertise across Generative AI, Data & Analytics, and Cloud Modernization
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification
• Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer certification

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements from initial discussions and technical discovery through proposals, prototyping, and production delivery
• Design and architect scalable GCP solutions across AI, data analytics, and enterprise applications
• Develop and present technical proposals, solution architectures, and proof-of-concepts
• Support technical pre-sales and Google Cloud co-sell activities
• Guide enterprise cloud migrations and application modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with customers and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and production launches
• Provide technical guidance on GCP architecture, scalability, security, and performance

Availability expectations

• The role involves regular collaboration with US-based stakeholders, with availability until 12 PM Pacific Time
• Extended overlap until 2 PM Pacific Time is preferred, where feasible
