We’re supporting a technology consultancy that is delivering a major transformation programme for a leading organisation within the transport sector.

They’re looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to work closely with technical and business stakeholders, designing and implementing scalable AWS and Amazon Connect solutions.

This is a customer-facing role. You’ll act as the link between UK stakeholders, project teams and offshore engineers, bringing clarity to complex requirements, guiding architectural decisions and helping keep delivery moving.

Fluent professional English is essential. You must be able to lead complex technical conversations, challenge stakeholders confidently and explain architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing scalable, secure and high-performing AWS solutions
• Leading the architecture of Amazon Connect and contact-centre capabilities
• Translating business requirements into clear technical designs
• Leading technical design reviews with engineering teams
• Guiding teams through implementation and deployment
• Coordinating distributed technical and project teams
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor and escalation point
• Driving cloud architecture, delivery and optimisation best practices

What we’re looking for:

• Strong commercial Amazon Connect architecture experience
• Broad AWS Solutions Architecture expertise
• At least five years’ experience in Solutions Architecture or a similar technical advisory role
• Experience designing contact flows, IVR, routing or omnichannel customer-contact solutions
• Strong knowledge of associated AWS services such as Lambda, Lex, Contact Lens, DynamoDB, Kinesis or API Gateway
• Customer-facing consultancy or embedded client delivery experience
• Excellent spoken English and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience working with distributed or offshore engineering teams

Experience within aviation, data architecture, AI/ML or modern DevOps environments would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is an urgent requirement offering an initial 12-month engagement, fully remote working and strong potential for continued work across future projects.
