Work you will do as an ISOutsource Solutions Architect: Adhere to standards and approved solutions established by ISOutsource Engineering Leadership. Architect and design technical solutions for complex infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, and modernization projects. Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through implementation and project closeout. Partner with the PMO, Consulting, Sales Engineering, and Project Engineering teams to develop technically sound project plans and implementation strategies. Review project designs to ensure alignment with ISOutsource standards, best practices, and client objectives. Serve as the primary technical escalation resource for complex project implementations. Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies before and during project execution. Perform technical quality assurance reviews on projects and provide recommendations for improvement. Mentor and coach Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing. Develop and maintain engineering standards, implementation methodologies, templates, and reusable technical documentation. Participate in project kickoff meetings, technical planning sessions, post-project reviews, and root cause analysis activities. Maintain a strong understanding of emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to Professional Services. Maintain punctuality and thorough communication in all internal and external customer engagements. Maintain the required utilization target established for the role. Participate in engineering on-call rotation as required. Perform daily time entry for all activities. Highly sought-after experience and skill includes: Networking –VLAN design and deployment. Proficiency at all layers of OSI Model. Experience with major brands of small/medium sized enterprise network infrastructure - Cisco, Fortinet, HPE/Aruba, Meraki, Ubiquiti Cloud Computing – Expertise with buildout, policies, administration, and troubleshooting with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and/or Software as a Service (SaaS). OSX – Desktop, Server, troubleshooting Virtualization – VMWare, Hyper-V, Proxmox, -Buildout, Deployment, Management, Troubleshooting Exchange –On-Premis/Exchange Online - Design, Deployment, Administration, and Troubleshooting Windows Server - Design, Deployment, Administration, and Troubleshooting Project design experience, including WBS, risk management and best practices Strong Troubleshooting Skills Additional experience we look for includes: SharePoint – highly desirable MDM Solutions - highly desirable - InTune, JAMF, Workspace1, etc. Perimeter Security – Fortinet, Sonicwall, Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, WatchGuard Enterprise Security – MFA, PKI, Group Policy, antivirus, log management, encryption, best practices Core Infrastructure – DNS, DHCP, Subnetting, Active Directory, Group Policy Microsoft SQL Server Core Management Solutions – Backups, Monitoring, Configuration Management, DSFR Endpoint Management – Windows , Mac, Linux Mobile Platform Support – iOS, Android, MDM Microsoft Power Platform Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BA.) or equivalent from four-year college or university; and/or ten+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
